Paramanandayya Sishyula Katha is a classic TV serial that was aired on DD Saptagiri. It was a classic hit show aired in 1986. It was set in ancient times. The serial was produced by Deepak Rupani, and it was directed by Prabhu. In the serial, there was a guru(teacher) named Paramanand. He had 7 Sishya(students) who used to live with him and study from him. They were all very stupid. There was an angel who used to dance for Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva gave her an amulet that was made by Rudraksha. She comes to visit the earth and to see how humans live. When she reaches earth she goes to take a bath in a river. This is the river where the pupils of Parmanand used to take baths. She catches them looking at her. They were not looking at her intentionally but she thinks that they were eve-teasing her. She curses them to be stupid. After knowing that their Teacher goes to meet the lady and tells her the truth. After knowing the truth she forgives them and takes back her curse.Â
