Shobana Vignesh is an Indian vocalist who has worked predominately in the Tamil music industry. Shobhana was born in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. Her father’s name was N. Kumar and her mother was Revathi Kumar. Shoba has spent most of her childhood days in Chennai. She has done her schooling from Padma Seshadri School. As a child, Shoba was fond of listening to classical songs and started learning it as she grew up. Shobana has been a student of various talented vocalists such as Sri. P.S. Narayanaswamy, Prof. T.R. Subramaniam, and Sri. Swamimalai Janakiraman. As an actor, Soba made her debut in her own recording debut Mahanadhi. It gave her a lot of fame and it has been one of her best albums.

Nithyashree, the young music champ was born in Chennai in the year 1999. Her parents are Mr. S. Venkataramanan and Mrs. Lakshmi. Nithya did her schooling at S.B.O.A School in Anna Nagar. Nithyashree’s elder sister, Vhaijaiyanthi Shree was learning the Carnatic music and hence Nithya learnt a lot by listening to her sister’s singing.

Mahathi is an Indian musician, born on 10 February 1985 in Chennai into a family of musicians. While her father, Thiruvaiyaru Sekar, is a former Carnatic vocalist, her mother, Vasanthi Sekhar, was a flute player. She completed her schooling from Cochin and graduated from Meenakshi College, Kodambakkam with a bachelor’s degree in English literature. With music running in her blood, it was no surprise to discover a child prodigy in Mahathi. When she was just one and a half-year-old, she started identifying the Carnatic Ragas, and by the time she was three, she could identify seventy-five of them. She got her initial training from her parents, as well as from Deepa and Gayatri at Thiruvananthapuram. Further, Sri O S Thiagarajan, Padmabhushan Chevalier Dr.M. Balamuralikrishna, and Padmabhushan T. N. Seshagopalan provided for her formal training. The talented prodigy was not kept hidden and in 1994, she received a scholarship from the Central government. Mahathi began performing at concerts when she was just ten.

Sriranjani Santhanagopalan is an Indian classical musician born on 14 March 1998 in Chennai. She is the most famous and sought musician in the Carnatic music field. She is the daughter of Vidwan Nayeli. Sri.R. Santhanagopalan. She has many rewards and prizes for concerts. She has traveled all over India and abroad, including almost 25 cities in the united states of America, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Australia, New Zealand, and others. She also runs a highly successful music school today, Sriranjani’s Tapasya.

This 34years singer is considered to be a source of abundant knowledge in classical singing, well-versed Veena player and most popular among classical section. His father late Shri Veena Raghavan is himself a great veteran in classical music. No doubt Sriram had to look nowhere for inspiration. Sriram started his career in 2001 and is still active. He is pulling it all with his exceptional talent.

Sikkil Gurucharan is an Indian musician and vocalist who have done several albums in the Tamil music industry. Sikkil was born on 21 June 1982 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is trained in Karnataka Sangita, who has also got the talent passed to him in his genes. Sikkil is the grandson of Sikkil Kunjumani who is one of the world-famous Sikkil Sister duos. He got his talent polished under the guidance of gurus such as Vaigal Shri S. Gnanaskandan and Shri B. Krishnamurthy. Sikkil is an A-grade All India radio singer and makes several programs for the radio station. He started singing professionally in the year 1995 and is active in the field.

O S Arun is an Indian Vocalist who has done various albums and singles in the Tamil classical music industry. Arun’s actual name is O.S. Vaidyanathan. His family has a musical background, and he was trained in music, saying it to be their Parivar Parampara. His first music teacher was his father, Vidwan O.V. Subramaniam. Later he got a proper training in classical music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and from the Delhi University, where he did diploma in classical music.

Neyveli R Santhanagopalan is an Indian vocalist who has worked on various albums in the Tamil music industry. Neyveli was born in 1963 and is a very talented vocalist of India with immense knowledge in classical music, ragas, and swaras. His recent work includes the TV show SaRiGaMaPa in the Jaya TV channel. Shri Thanjavur Sankara Iyer, Shri Maharajapuram Santhanam, and Shri TN Seshagopalan are his masters. His respect towards the traditional music is often reflected from his songs and live shows.
