Pokémon is originally a Japanese animated series based on the Pokémon Company’s ‘Pokémon video game series.’ It is now being aired on pogo channel in the Tamil language.
The show revolves around Ash Ketchum who aspires to be a Pokémon master and travels along with his small group of friends around the world to capture as many Pokémon’s as he can.
Ash marks his way on many Pokémon leagues and makes both human and Pokémon friends. Along the way he also fights the Team Rocket trio Jessi, James and Meowth who want to steal Ash’s Pokémon Pikachu and any other rare Pokémon they come across. The show is a blend of adventure, comedy and fantasy. It is a perfect entertaining getaway for children.
