Deemantha is a dance teacher. He lives with Maya, his mother, and his adoptive father, Dharmapriya. Deemantha was diagnosed with lung cancer. He thinks that his father died due to a similar type of cancer. But Dharmapriya tells him that his father Gunendra didn’t die due to cancer and he started to tell his story to Deemantha. Gunendra and Dharmapriya have been best pals since the 50s. Gunendra is talented in music and is also a business magnate. He was diagnosed with cancer. Gunendra’s doctor warns him that his life expectancy is only 3 months. Meanwhile, a person, Appuhami, meets Dharmapriya to post an advertisement for an Ayurvedic doctor, who cured cancer.

Dharmapriya informs about this to Gunendra, and he visits the doctor, who cures him. The doctor asks him to stay away from alcohol. But, Gunendra didn’t hear his advice, and hence he was diagnosed with cancer for the second time. So, he returns to the same place where the doctor resided and treated him. He heard that the doctor died before 6 months. However, Mangli, the doctor’s daughter, cured him. He fell in love with her and married her. Gunendra returns to home after a few months and starts living with Maya. Maya becomes pregnant, and it is revealed that Mangali is also present with Gunendra’s child. Dharmapriya is now angry and informs Mangali about Gunendra’s first wife. Mangali advices Gunendra to stay with Maya. Confused, Gunendra commits suicide. After this, Dharmapriya takes care of Maya and Deemantha. Mangali also delivers a boy child. After telling this story, Dharmapriya takes Deemantha to Mangali. What happens next?
