In the 24th Sumathi Awards ceremony, the show won the Most Popular Teledrama of the Year Award. It also received impressive nominations for Best Drama, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Upcoming Actor, Best Upcoming Actress, Best Music Score, and Best Cameraman. The story is about Ayoma (played by Michelle Dilhara). She travels from Madawachchiya with her mother, Suba (Umayangana Wickramasinghe). She is on a quest to find her father. Their journey brings them to a rural village where they are dropped off by a bus. When Ayoma inquires about her aunt, Suba pretends not to recall mentioning any aunt. After persistent questioning, Suba becomes irritated and admits to lying, which upsets Ayoma. Feeling betrayed, Ayoma stubbornly leaves her mother and walks alone along the road. Despite growing fearful and sensing that someone might be following her, she remains determined to continue. Meanwhile, Suba encounters Amarapala (Lakshman Mendis), who inquires about her destination. Suba is reluctant to reveal her true purpose. This prompted Amarapala to offer accommodation at his home.

Later, Amarapala returns to his home and informs his wife, Swarna (Chandani Seneviratne), about the newcomers to the village, but Swarna shows little interest in the matter. The story then follows how these characters overcome these difficulties. The Screenplay, Story, and Direction are done by Sunil Costa.
