This show airing on ITN depicts the economic struggles of ordinary Sri Lankans trying to make ends meet. Set in the iconic pork weedy (pork street) with rows of nighttime food stalls, it captures the vendors' hardships and camaraderie.

When famous actress Mandakini visits this pork weedy, she meets figures like tea stall owner Wilson, married couple teachers turned pork roti sellers Dilan and Nuwangi, health food vendors Senaka and wife, sweets seller-cum-taxi driver Narmada, and resident singer Maadini. Some like Senaka are even homeless. In later episodes, Mandakini returns to start her burger stall, worrying the others about competition. But she argues everyone has an equal right to do business. The story emphasizes unity in adversity, portraying the stall owners as a small community facing real-world issues with friendship and compromise despite fearing for livelihoods with a celebrity in their midst.
