Isuru Lokuhettiarachchi

Isuru Lokuhettiarachchi is a prominent actor in the Sri Lankan cinema and television industry. He was born on March 23, 1983, in Matara, Sri Lanka. While growing up, he was the youngest child in the family and attended Rahula College for his education. Prior to entering the world of drama, he served in the Sri Lanka Army as a second lieutenant from 2003 to 2007. He was stationed at several bases, during his service in the army including Ariyalei, Sarasale, Naagadeepa, Kilali, Eluthumadduval, and Muhamalai, where he contributed his skills and dedication. After leaving the army, he transitioned to a managerial role in the pharmaceutical marketing industry.

In 2013, he pursued his passion for drama and theater by completing a degree in Drama and Theater from the University of Drama. His career in the entertainment industry started with uncredited roles in a few teledramas and stage dramas. He gradually made his mark, and in the year 2008, he made his debut in the television industry with the drama series Dennata Denna, directed by Charith Kothalawala. Although only his back was visible in that particular scene, it was a significant stepping stone for his acting career. Later, he gained recognition for his supportive role as Piyarathna in the popular drama series Malee in 2012. In addition to his acting prowess, he is known for his skills as a dubbing artist.

He has lent his voice to various dubbed television serials, including Ananthayen Aaa Tharu Kumara, Pruthuvi Maharaja, Boys Over Flowers Boys Over Flowers is a Korean series based on Japa >> Read More... , Adjiraja Dharmashoka, Blacklist, and Me Adarayay. His debut in mainstream cinema came in 2017 with the film Ran Sayura, where he portrayed a villainous character. He has since been a part of notable films such as Husma, Nidahase Piya DS, and President Super Star. His portrayal of Ruwan in the film Husma received high praise from critics. Beyond his acting career, he has also showcased his talents as a host. He has hosted the television musical program 7 Notes and the Siyatha TV show Voice of Asia. In 2020, he displayed his versatility by portraying dual roles in the television serial Hoda Wade.
