Ado is a Sinhala drama that started airing on Sirasa TV on 10th September 2019 and went off air on 31st December 2019 with 81 episodes.

There are multiple stories in Ado, which is about the asylum seekers in Australia from Sri Lanka.

Meesha Gunawardena is a popular singer who is concerned about his social status. Dora is a doctor who loves to lead a simple yet happy life. She falls for Aravinda, who enjoys even the smallest things in life. Aravinda’s intimacy with Dora makes her pregnant. As it may affect Meesha, she asks Aravind to move to Australia, where she will meet him one day. But, Aravinda dies on Christmas Island. Dora and Meesha’s relationship weakens. Janajeewa and Kamani are a couple who have three kids. Though they fight for their living, they lead a happy life. As they couldn’t survive with the simple job, he left for Australia. Even after days passed, Kamani didn’t hear from her husband. Finally, she received his death news. As she had to feed her kids, she started working as a Juki operator. She also stitches clothes at home to raise a decent income. But, she was abused by people and was forced to go in the wrong way to raise income for her children. However, Janajeewa returns one day. How will he react?
