Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Odia 2018 is a singing reality show that was initially aired on ZEE Sarthak. This show is a part of one of the largest and longest running - “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” Franchise. The show is in Odia. This show is to celebrate and acknowledge the singing of talented young people of Odisha. This show gives a vast platform and opportunities for aspiring singers. The participants must perform in front of the esteemed judges and go through various levels. Before performing in front of judges, they went for a round of auditions, gala rounds, and theatre performances. Most of the people were eliminated before reaching the main stage of the show. The main aim of this show was to promote Odia Music and Odia Language to the country. This way, the culture of Odisha will be encouraged and accepted more among the newer generation. This is very important to preserve the traditional folk music and singing style of Odisha. All the episodes are available on the OTT platform ZEE 5 for online streaming.
