Goodly Rath is an Indian film composer, musician, and singer. He has made his mark in several music-related fields such as playback singing, vocal arrangement, musical arrangement, background score, music programming, and production. His distinct approach and enthusiasm towards his profession have earned him partnerships with a number of well-known producers.

Rath was born in Bhubaneswar, Orissa in the year 1973 to a musical family. Pravabati Rath, his mother, was a state-level singer and gold medallist in several competitions. Khetramohan Kar, his maternal grandfather, was a well-known tabla player. Rath has a sister and four older brothers. He went to Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium School and later to Buxi Jagabandhu College in Bhubaneswar to pursue his graduation. Rath has always been fascinated by music and has shown a significant interest in playing various musical instruments since he was a toddler. At a very young age, Rath and his brothers formed their own band called The Brothers.

He is a judge on the popular TV show 'Voice of Odisha', that airs on the TV channel Tarang and has also judged Sartha TV’s 'Singing Superstar'.
