 In the eastern side of India, Jatra is a popular form of Lok Kalamanch, a type of folk dance. In this series, many participants performed dancing, singing, debating against each other, drama, etc. In the beginning, Jatra was a powerful mode of giving information regarding religious beliefs to the audience. Jatra and Oriya were born at the same time, and this brought various ideas for historians and literature.  All the singers and composers are fixed at a place and start giving a speech in a loud voice and in a fast way so that the audience can hear their voice and be motivated for their speech.
