Paaru is a Marathi series that aired on Zee Marathi. Kiran Kulkarni penned the screenplay, and Raju Sawant directed the series. Paaru is an official remake of Zee Telugu series Muddha Mandaram. Sarita Tejendra Neswankar produced the series under Trrump Carrd Production banner.

Ahilyadevi Shrikant Kirloskar is a wealthy lady who rules her house and office. Shrikant Kirloskar is her husband. He respects his wife’s decision, though he doesn’t agree with it. This couple has two sons, Aditya Shrikant Kirloskar and Pritam Shrikant Kirloskar. Parvati is the daughter of Maruti Semse. Ahilya’s son Aditya, falls for Paaru. As he knows well that his mother won’t accept his marriage to a girl who is from a financially weak background, he secretly marries her. Even Paaru hides her marriage from her father. She works in Ahilya’s household as a maid. What happens when Ahilya comes to know about this? The rest of the story deals with this.

Sharayu Sonawane plays Parvati Maruti Semse, Prasad Jawade plays Aditya Shrikant Kirloskar, Mugdha Karnik plays Ahilyadevi Shrikant Kirloskar, Vijay Patwardhan plays Shrikant Kirloskar, and Anuj Salunkhe plays Pritam Shrikant Kirloskar. The supporting star cast includes Shantanu Gangane, Shrutkirti Sawant, Devdatta Ghone, Atul Kaswa, Prajakta Wadye, Purva Shinde, Sachin Deshpande, Nikhil Zope, Bharat Jadhav, Pari Telang, and Kushal Badrike.
