The story of Rocket Boys is about two extraordinary men in the history of India Dr. Homi J. Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. It revolves around three crucial decades in the history of India that shaped our country as well as contributed in making India a strong, brave and independent nation. These personalities had a great dream in their eyes and a vision for the development of the nation in their minds. Dr. Homi J. Bhabha engineered India’s Nuclear Programme and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai established the Indian Space Programme and various other institutes. The journey of Dr. Sarabhai was supported by her wife Mrs. Mrinalini Sarabhai. Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and Pandit Jawahrlal Nehru had also supported them. The series shows the friendship, sacrifices and the determination of Dr. Homi J. Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai that led to India’s first rocket launch.
