Plot

In the 1950s a group of women named Ayastis from Charandaspur performed some rituals in the forest. They are experimenting to create their deity. But, before the ritual is completed, the women are attacked by a group of villagers, who consider them witches. In 2025, Vikram, a cop, travels to Charandaspur with his father, Vishwanath, on a train. They meet a photographer, Abhishek. Ananya, a politician, hires Abhishek to complete a secret task for her professional gain. After Abhishek completes the task for her, he is found dead mysteriously. When the CBI officer, Rea, starts investigating this case, she gets new clues, and also Yadava brothers, were murdered during this period. After this, Vikram joins Rea to put an end to the mystery. Did they succeed?

Star Performance

Surveen’s performance is at the top. Her multi-layered character and her composed performance are the highlights of the film. Vaani is decent in her expressions and excellent in the action sequences. Vaibhav adds emotional depth to the story.

Analysis

The series starts with an interesting story and creates suspense right from the beginning. The suspense builds strongly one after another knot is untied. After the death of the Yadav brothers, the suspense peaked up. The writer and director deserve appreciation for keeping the audience glued to their seats till the climax. The script is something unique, and the makers succeeded in their attempt with a good execution. Yet, the intimate moments between Vikram and Ananya, and Vikram and Kavita, are not needed for the story. Although the series has some exciting moments, the climax is not as impressive as expected.
