The story revolves around a girl named Shweta who finds herself in a suspicious hotel room with one of her friends, Abhishek. He drugged her and took her to a hotel room in an auto-rickshaw. Shweta manages to call her friends to save her, and luckily, two of her friends, Riya and Tisha, arrive at the right time, but due to a significant fight, Abhishek gets killed by Tisha.
After finding no way to escape, the girls decide to commit suicide using the same revolver one by one in the same room. The auto-rickshaw driver Jamaal plans along with his friend Desu to loot the couple and hence come in the same hotel room. Both of them arrive before Tisha can shoot herself. The rest of the story deals with how Shweta and everyone else survive without being caught by the police.
Downtown is a thriller, crime, and drama web series perfect for people who want to watch shows that have a lot of thrillers and crime along with a hint of drama.
