The 24-year-old singing sensation Sanchita Bhattacharya, who was brought up in West Bengal, now holds the title of ‘India’s daughter’ given by the very talented singer Shaan. Sanchita was born in 1991 and did her schooling from Shibpur Chatterjee Haat High School. A passionate learner always achieves great heights and so did she with her hard work. The Indian singer became the winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs at the age of 15. With 45 lakhs 23 thousand votes out of 1 crore 32 lakh votes, she became the first female winner by public’s decision. “I always wanted to become a playback singer” she was quoted saying after she was crowned as the winner. The joy which added to her achievement was that her crowning was done by the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh was amazed at her singing and applauded her talent by regarding her as ‘the future of India.’ Along with the trophy, Sanchita also won a scholarship worth rupees 15 lakhs from Kidzee and a chance to cut her album. The judge of the show Bappi Lahiri praised her for her versatility and that she could sing anything from a bhajan to an item number.

Alka Yagnik is a very popular playback singer of the Bollywood film industry. She was born on March 20, 1966. She has been working in the Hindi film industry for three decades. She had bagged seven Filmfare awards out of the thirty five nominations at the Filmfare awards. It was for the best playback singer award category. Her singing is quite beautiful and she was felicitated by many icons.

Shantanu Mukherjee is a very popular singer and known by the name of Shaan. He was born on September 30, 1972. His grandfather Jahar Mukherjee was the lyricist, his father Manas Mukherjee was the late music director, and his sister Sagarika is a singer. Shaan lost his father at the age of 13 after that his mother became a singer and took the responsibility of the entire family.

Bappi Lahiri is a famous Music Composer of India. Born on 27 November 1952 in a Hindu Bengali background, at Kolkata, Bappi Lahiri was instrumental in the popularization of Disco music in Indian films. Namak Halaal, Disco Dancer, and Sharaabi are the songs of the 1980s that made him popular. Both the parents of Bappi were working in the music industry. He is currently co-hosting Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa's seventh instalment with Ranvir Shorey.

He was awarded Best Anchor award for Dance India Dance Li'l Masters in 2011. He had appeared in guest role in Tees Maar Khan but he made his big screen debut with Mickey Virus.
