Deepali Kishore is a singer of Indian origin. She belongs to Patna in the state of Bihar. She is a versatile singer who can perform genres like classical music and pop music. Later on, she became the anchor for the auditions round of season 4 of Indian Idol along with Meiyang Chang. Ankita Mishra is an Indian singer who is often seen in stage shows. She got popular with her performance in Indian Idol. Ankita has a YouTube Channel with more than 2500 subscribers. She was among the top finalists which included Emon Chatterjee, Meyang Chang, Prashant Tamang, etc. in the third season of the show, which was aired in 2007. It is an Indian version of the American show American Idol. The show was judged by eminent personalities from the Bollywood music industry, singers Udit Narayan and Alisha Chinoy, music director Anu Malik and writer Javed Akhtar. The show was hosted by actor and VJs Mini Mathur and Hussain Kuwajerwala. Smita Adhikari is from a Bengali musical family from Kolkata, West Bengal. Both her parents are singers, and it lead her to take up singing from a very early age. She has spent her growing years in Kolkata.

Alisha Chinai was born on 18th March 1965 and her birth name is Sujata Chinai. She is also popularly known as Alisha, Baby Doll and Indian Madonna. She was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She got into the film industry at the age of 20 as a pop singer and playback singer. Her debut music director was Bappi Lahiri. This duo had many hit albums in the decade of 1980 that includes Love Love Love, Guru, Tarzan, Commando, Dance Dance and so forth.

Parleen Gill originally belongs from Chandigarh and is a mesmerizing Bollywood singer. The Hindi singer from Punjab comes from an army background. He is known to be a disciplined singer. He has started his musical journey at an early age of just four years. He was a contestant of the famous musical reality show ‘Indian Idol,’ in the third season of the show. Emon Chatterjee is an Indian singer who becomes popular after joining and winning the second runner-up place in the third season of the reality show, Indian Idol in year 2007. He is from Kolkata who dreams of becoming big in the music industry. His name was derived from the famous Raga of the Indian Classical Music called Yaman. It was given by his parents, Sri Mainak and Smt Sutapa Chatterjee, which just shows that he came from a family with so much passion for music.

Anu Malik is considered as one of the most famous and successful music directors from film industry. He has also established his name as a singer. He began his career as a music director in 1977. He gave the music for the film Hunterwali. He became famous in 1990s by delivering the blockbusters like Baazigar,Janam and so on. We can say 1990 to 2000s was the golden period of his career. He was awarded a National Award for his phenomenal music for the film Refugee. His other blockbusters were Shah Rukh Khan starrer Mai Hoon Na and Baazigar . This movie gave him a Filmfare Award of Best Music Director. He has made a record of winning this trophy for 6 times. Anu Malik has given his versatile music for more than 350 films. He is considered as the most promising music director from the industry. So his songs like Garam Chaye Ki Pyali, Mehbooba Mehbooba, Gori Gori are some of the most famous songs from his compositions. He has also successfully played the role of a judge in the reality show Indian Idol. And has also made a presence in many T.V. shows. Amit Paul is an Indian singer. He was a participant in Indian Idol Season 3 and gained his popularity after his appearance on that reality TV show. The judges- Javed Akhtar, Alisha Chinai, Udit Narayan and Anu Malik- liked his performances and considered him to be amongst the top singers of that season. He was a fellow participant of Meiyang Chang, Prashant Tamang, Emon Chatterjee and many more. Although Prashant Tamang bagged the winning award for the season, Paul fared well at the runners-up position. Amit Paul hails from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. After his acclamation in the Indian Idol Season 3, he was named as the Brand Ambassador of Peace, Communal Harmony and Excellence for the state of Meghalaya by the Meghalaya Government. It was believed that after his appearance on Indian Idol, he brought fame and recognition to his hometown and state. This highlight brought harmony between the two rivals- tribal and non-tribal populations- of the state, which began living in harmony henceforth.

Meiyang Chang wanted to follow the family tradition of dentistry, but life had some other plans. He has become a TV host, a singer and even an actor in Bollywood films now. He was an Indian Idol 3 finalist and even was a TV host of Indian Idol 4 and Indian Idol 5. As a host, he gained reputation and was given a chance to play a TV host again for many reality TV shows such as India's Got Talent 3, New Talent Awards, Apsara Awards and Indian Premier League 2, etc.

Javed Akhtar is an Indian poet, lyricist, film scriptwriter from Bellwood. He is best known for teaming up with Salim Khan. Javed Akhtar came to recognition as a scriptwriter duo of Salim-Javed. Salim-Javed was instrumental in making of Amitabh Bachchan the superstar and 'angry young' image in Indian cinema, While Salim had ideated stories, Javed used to write the dialogues. Javed Saab used to write in Urdu, which was written in Hindi by some assistant writers. In his initial days, Javed was an assistant to Urdu writer and film lyricist Kaifi Azmi. Later, he married Kaifi Azmi’s daughter, Shabana Azmi, after divorcing his first wife, Honey Irani. Javed had married Honey Iran while he met her during the making of Seeta Aur Geeta.

Prashant Tamang is a popular singer turned actor and the winner on the third season of the reality singing competition show, Indian Idol in year 2007. He was born on January 4, 1983 in Darjeeling, West Bengal to Rupa and Madan Tamang who both came from the Nepali lineage. He spent his early life in Himalayan, Darjeeling and attended St. Robert’s School. When his father dies in an accident, he stopped attending school and joined the Kolkata Police. He usually sings for the police orchestra in Kolkata Police. He got married to Geeta Thata, an air hostess on February 2011 in Nagaland, India.

Hussain Kuwajerwala is one of the most recognizable faces in Indian Television industry. Simply known as Hussain, he is an actor, dancer and an anchor with considerable body of work. Born 12 October 1997, Hussain started his career with modelling campaigns and commercials. However, he soon broke into the television industry with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahoo Thi. This Indian series turned out to be a massive hit and Hussain's career took off after it. Subsequently, he appeared in several popular television serials like Hum Paanch, Rishtey, Aashirwad, Sarhadein, Kanyadaan, Kangan, Krishna Arjun and Yeh Hai Jalwa.

Hussain Kuwajerwala was awarded with 2007 Style Icon of the Year in the Indian Telly Award and the Best Anchor award for Shabaash India in 2007 by Star Gold Awards.

Ganesh Hegde is a popular singer, choreographer and presenter who have worked for a number of Bollywood songs and movies. He has also choreographed for some Indian television shows.
