After various elimination rounds, the top 5 contestants were chosen to perform in the grand finale. These top five contestants were Vibhor, Nitin, Salman, Neelanjana Ray, and Salman Ali. They performed in the grand finale that was a two-hour episode. In the finale episode, all three judges also performed on their super hit songs. After several rounds, Salman Ali won the show and was crowned the ultimate winner of the 10th season of Indian Idol. He was given a 25 Lakh cash cheque as a winning prize and was awarded a Datsun Car. He later said that he wanted to help underprivileged kids and wanted to work in Bollywood. Ankush Bhardwaj was awarded the first runner up of the show. Neelanjana was awarded as 2nd runner up, and Nitin was awarded 3rd runner up in the show.
