Afterwards, he bagged the role of Uday Singh in the Hindi serial, Saath Saath Banayenge Ek Aashiyaan on Zee TV and played the role of Senapati Veer in Sagar Arts’ Shakuntala. He also did a cameo role in the drama series, Rishton Se Badi Pratha on Colors TV. He was also seen in Star Plus’ Navya as Amar, the Boss and he was debuted in an international film as Prince Siddhartha in the Sri Lankan movie, Sri Siddhartha Gauthama which was released in 17th January 2013. This film became a major hit that even the President of the country asked him for a dinner.
Gagan got his first break in the serial, Saath Saath Banayenge Ek Aashiyana. It is a story about the cousins, Uday and Abhay who are very close to each other. He played the role of Uday, a sweet and very positive person.
