It starts with the female lead named Pranati Mishra who is an 18-year-old falling in love with her classmate, who is a rich spoiled brat. They both love each other. She wants to marry him but she didn't know that he has no intention of marrying her. His name is Reyansh Khurana. She is now pregnant and has no idea what to do. She wants to tell that to her family members and Reyansh but afraid of being judged. After some time she finally tells her boyfriend about the pregnancy. She asks him to marry her, but he refuses to say he can not do that and he is not ready for such big responsibility. She gives birth to a baby girl at her home. Her mother later tells her that she gave birth to a dead baby. The serial leaps for 8 years.

Pranati is now moved on and ready to get married to her friend named Archit. While she has no idea that her daughter is alive in an orphanage. Her daughter is named Jugnu. She is very naughty and keeps getting in all trouble. After sometimes she gets to know about her daughter and brings her home. She wants to take her custody and wants to keep her at home. In court, they decide that Reyansh should also get custody. They both get custody for 6 months. Jugnu hates her mom and dad. She thinks that they are the bad guys for leaving her in an orphanage. She does not know the truth about her grandmother lying to her mother about her.

Pranati breaks her engagement and now Archit is devastated. Now Reyansh and Pranati are living in the same house because of his grandmother. Later she finds out that he is afraid of commitment because his mother left him when he was just a kid. The rest of the story is about how she tries to make him comfortable with commitment and make her kid love them.
