The show is >> Read More... ’s mausoleum, the channel telecast a devotional show on primetime. Mere Sai comes with the teachings of Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi. He was regarded as one of the greatest spiritual gurus. Nobody knew whether Sai Baba was Hindu or a Muslim, but he condemned those who saw any difference between Hindus and Muslims.

He first appeared in Shirdi as a young lad and practiced yoga and sacred rituals. He was fondly called Fakir as he lived a life of mendicancy. Baba had no home or family to look after and always stayed in an old mosque. Every day, he visited a few houses of his disciples and collected food in an old piece of cloth or a tin pot. Mere Sai focuses on various stories and miracles associated with Baba. The devotees of Baba claim to have experienced several miracles like curing snake bites, lighting lamps with water, curing incurable diseases, removing limbs and intestines for cleaning and then sticking them back, etc.

Baba took Samadhi on 19th October 1918 and has been resting in the temple since then, now called “The Samadhi Mandir.” Although Sai Baba is not present in Shirdi physically now,  it is said that those who remember Sai with complete devotion can experience his miraculous ways in everyday life. Sai Baba is also known to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva. He fondly encouraged devotees to chant the name of God continuously.
