There are many dramas that display how two people with opposite personalities turn out to be great couples in later days. But what they fail to showcase is how it doesn't happen with every similar couple. This story throws light on one such couple, with each of them having different personalities. They split apart further due to their distinct behaviours. They have a son named Yatharth. What sets them apart is their nature. Manav is an honest government officer. He lives by his principles and prefers a simple, happy life. Akanksha isn't a believer in principles. She desires to live a sophisticated life where she can satisfy all her monetary dreams. While they have different expectations in life, their love for their son, Yatharth, keeps them united. Everything goes as usual until the arrival of Vaibav. Vaibav is a rich businessman who thinks that everything can be bought with money.

He treats his wealth as his greatest possession. When his eyes fall on Akanksha, he makes himself a vow to attain her through all means. He didn't know her name initially and called her by her nickname, "Kaamna." This happens while Manav is in Bhopal after having a fight with Akanksha. He then transferred to Indore to patch up things with her. Vaibav starts getting close to her by buying her a bungalow and offering her a fancy job in his company. Manav keeps on warning her about Vaibav's intentions. She starts to love Vaibav while leaving Manav heartbroken. She leaves the house and moves in with Vaibav. This mentally affects Yatharth, who is helpless to see his parents break up. His school teacher, Sakshi, takes notice of his condition and helps him. She has lost her husband and son in an accident. And so, she sees her son in Yatharth and cares for him a lot.

Manav is not happy about Sakshi's extra care of Yatharth initially. But as the days go on, he understands her. He lets her stay with him by considering Yatharth. Also, Akanksha wants to have her son back. She approaches the court for custody. But Vaiba is not okay with it as he hates kids. Will Manav secure his son from Akanksha? Will Manav and Sakshi become a couple? Well, that becomes the storyline here.
