The series tells the story of a small-town boy called Mankameshwar “Manu” Maurya, who is hard-working, sweet, and innocent guy. He strongly believes in his grandmother Banphool Maurya’s (Jayashree Arora) advice that - if you haven’t done anything wrong to anyone, nothing wrong will happen to you. Manu marries a girl named Shweta.
She elopes with her boyfriend on the wedding night, leaving a letter accusing the Maurya family of dowry. The policeman bribed by the bride arrests Manu. Here on, the protagonist’s struggles to live a peaceful life start. Manu got released after proving himself innocent and facing all the hurdles. However, his boss fired him. So, still looking at the silver lining, he decides to restart his grandfather’s Jai Mataji Tent House, which was abruptly closed after her demise. Did Manu manage to realize his dream? What will happen when Gargi (Kangan Baruah Nangia) enters his life? Can Manu always stay firm on his grandmother’s philosophy after facing the ruthless world?
