Damini Kanwal Shetty was interested in acting since her childhood and started acting in plays at a very young age. She produced the serial 'Bani-Kalma Ishq Da' for Colors Channel and she staged a comeback as an actor in this serial when she appeared as Anuradha, a senior NGO Officer who changes the life of female protagonist, Bani. The role was a small one but it drove the story and she received high appreciation for her performance in the serial. 

 

She is really praiseworthy in view of the fact that she can manage all her roles as a producer, creative director, story teller and actor with equal levels of efficiency along with maintaining her family and her eleven year old daughter.

This movie he claims doesn’t have anything supernatural with ghosts and spirits, rather it is brutal killing that would surely make you clench your teeth. Mulraj Rajda is a veteran Indian actor, writer and a prominent director. He was born on November 13, 1931 in Kalbadevi, Mumbai, India. After he graduated in college, he worked in Cable Corporation of India and later, in Dena Bank for some years. He got married in March 2, 1956 to Indian actress, Indumati. They have three children and one of it is Sameer Rajda, a Gujarati actor.

 

He entered the entertainment field in year 1959 after writing and performing in a Gujarati play. Mulraj stated that he is a writer first then later on, he became an actor. Mulraj works in Gujarati Theatre for over 15 years, and then in 1976, he joined the Gujarati film industry and became a screenplay and dialog writer and at the same time, he works as an actor. He started working in television serials in mid 1980’s. 

In 1987, Mulraj played as Janak in the epic television series, Ramayan where he gained his fame and popularity. This was aired on Doordarshan channel under the direction of Ramanand Sagar.  Prior to this, Mulraj also appeared in many of Sagar’s projects including the mythological television show, Vikram Aur Betaal in 1985 on DD National. He played various roles in the series which consists of different stories that aims to teach the children on life lessons. He is also part of the TV serials like Rajni in 1985, Dada Dadi Ki Kahaniyan on DD National in 1986 and more. He did various shows by B.R. Chopra, Ramanand Sagar and Dheeraj Kumar. Mulraj also essayed the role of Vashishtha in the series, Vishwamitra in 1995. In the same year, he acted in the afternoon soap, Swabhimaan under the direction of Mahesh Bhatt. In 2003, he appeared in B.R. Chopra’s Vishnu Puran. 


Through the years, Mulraj constantly write, act and direct in many Gujarati shows, films and stage plays. He was notably remembered for his Gujarati serials like Chal Mhare Sathe, Naari Tu Na Haari, O Zindagi, Surajmukhi and a lot more. He also entered the Bollywood industry and did the screenplay of the 1989 film, Mitti Aur Sona under the direction of Shiv Kumar and the 1973 comedy film, Aaj Ki Taaza Khabar. In 2002, Mulraj is the writer and director of the mythological serial, Jai Shri Swaminarayan which was produced by Devang Patel. In year 2009, Mulraj did a small role in the television series, Rit Rivaj. 


In year 1988, before the Ramayan ended, BR Films announced that there will be a televised version of the epic show, Mahabharat. Mulraj asked the production if there will be a role that will suit him but he was told that they will not cast any actors who have been part of the series, Ramayan. But a friend of Mulraj wanted to try a role in Mahabharat so he accompanied him to the office of BR Films. But when the casting director, Gufi Paintal saw Mulraj, he gets too excited and stated that finally, they have found someone who will fit for Rajguru of Hastinapur’s role.

 

Mulraj Rajda died on September 23, 2012 due to complications but his memories and contributions to the Gujarati industry will always be remembered.

Radha Krishna Dutt is one of the most talented actors seen on screen. Best known for his role as Brahma in the popular soap Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, the actor has years of experiences behind him. The show is based on Indian Mythology and has gained immense popularity. 

He spent a lot of time in Ranchi during his childhood years. Most part of his schooling was done from St. John’s School and St. Xavier’s School in Ranchi. Thereafter, he completed his graduation from St. Xavier’s College.

Vikram Sharma is a television actor most popularly known for the role of Hanuman that played in the serial Ramayana, aired on NDTV Imagine. The show started on the 21st January, 2008 and featured on the channel at nine thirty at night. It continued till June 26th, 2009 and had a full three hundred episodes in its season. The show, as the name suggests, is obviously based on the historical epic Ramayana, that tells the tale of the kingdom Ayodhya, king Dasharat, and his son Ram, and daughter in law Sita. Here he plays the role of a mighty Vanara who is an inhabitant of the Kishkindha kingdom. He is an ardent devotee of Lord Ram, and so puts all his might in helping Ram to rescue Sita from the captivity of Ravana, at Lanka. Hanuman is one of the central characters in this epic who plays a huge role in helping Ram’s battle against Ravana.


Vikram Sharma’s current television celebrity ranking is 1306, which had dropped to 1361 last week. He reached the peak of his fame in August 2009, when he had the celebrity ranking of 199. Kumar Hegde is an Indian Television actor and he is famous for his character of Nandi in Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev. He was born in Punjab, India.

As an actor, Hedge is very popular in the Hindi Television serial. He is playing the role of Nandi in Devin Ke Dev...Mahadev. This serial was first started on 18 December 2011 and run successfully till now. The serial is broadcasted on Life OK. It is directed by Nikhil Sinha and Manish Singh. In this serial, he is working with Mohit Raina, Mouni Roy, Suhasi Goradia Dhami and Radha Krishna Dutta. The character Nandi is actually a bull, but he appeared as a human in this mythology. He was a follower of Shiva and think Shiva as his father. Kumar Hedge feels proud as he got such an opportunity to play the character of Nandi.

Before this serial, He also worked in Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan and Sai Baba. In Prithviraj Chauhan, he played an interesting character with co-actor Rajat Tokas, Mugdha Chaphekar, Richa Mukherjee, Jas Arora and Sidharth Malhotra. This serial was produced by Moti Sagar, Meenakshi Sagar and Akash Sagar and was premiered on May 12, 2006. The serial was broadcasted on Star Plus and run successfully till March 15, 2009.

In Mythological serial Sai Baba, he also played a role. This serial was produced by Sagar Arts Company and was premiered on 5th August 2005. This serial was also broadcasted on Star Plus.

In Bollywood, Hegde first appeared in the movie Ajay with Sunny Deol, Karisma Kapoor, Reena Roy, Kiran Kumar and Suresh Oberoi. The film was directed and produced by Suneel Darshan. The film was released on 20 December 1996 and the music of the film was composed by Anand-Milind.

His second film was Barsaat : A Sublime Love Story which was released on 19 August 2005. The director and the producer of this film was Suneel Darshan. In this film Hegde worked with Bobby Deol, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Shakti Kapoor and Manmeet Singh.

 Girija Shanker is a Indian actor as well as director and is popular for his roles in television serials like ‘Mahabharat’ which was telecasted during the year 1988 to 1990, ‘Baghi’ which was released in the year 2006 and ‘Khwaab’ which was released in the year 2004.

The televisions serial that gave him a great exposure and the one that stills remains one of his best performances ever is the character Dridharastra, who is the helpless father of Duryodhana in the television serial ‘Mahabharat’. The serial was produced by B.R Chopra and is directed by his son Ravi Chopra. The television was released during the year 1988 and had a total of 94 episodes with each episode running about 45 minutes. The televisions show went on to become a viral hit and was telecast in DD1 and Star Utsav. Besides the show received international attention and the satellite rights were bought by BBC channel to telecast the show in United Kingdom and for the equal amount FBC TV channel also bought the satellite rights to telecast the show in Fiji. The show was also dubbed in different languages which include Tamil, Telugu and also International languages like Indonesia.

Girija Shanker also made his debut as a director by shooting a English film, ‘Banana Brothers’, which tells the tale about two young men who went to San Francisco with a dream to earn big and to lead high life and they ultimately succeeds in it after facing many difficulties and obstacles throughout their life. He said during an interview that there were many Indians in USA and Canada who had every skill to become a successful actor but lacked the opportunity and had no platform to showcase their talents. So Girija Shanker met and called everyone of them to make this movie come true.
