Dance India Dance Lil Master’s season 3 is a dance competition show that broadcasted on 1st March 2014 on Zee TV. DID Lil Masters is produced by UTV Software Communications which has won millions of hearts all around the globe by featuring so many talented dancers. The show promotes a broad range of dance styles ranging from hip-hop, jazz to cultural dance forms.
Children between 5 to 14 years of age were eligible for participation. Judges Geeta Kapoor, Ahmad Khan and Mudassar Khan, auditioned the contestants based on their performances under the guidance of head judge Mithun Chakraborty, and qualifying participants were divided into teams of the choreographers Sanam Johar, Raghav Crockroaz Juyal famous for his slow motion dance style, Rahul Shetty and Paul Marshal Cardoz and Swarali Karulkar. The teams were named as ‘Raghav’s Rockstar’, ‘Sanam’s Superheroes’, ‘Rahul and Paul K Rapchik Punters’ and ‘Swarali’s Sparklers’. Jay Bhanushali hosted the show, and himself has become one of the most popular hosts of tv shows.
The participants were given scores by the judges based on their performances and the cumulative sum of audience’s votes and judge’s scores decided who would be able to stay and whose journey ended. With successive challenges and contests, the winner of the season that emerged was Teriya Magar from Nepal. Geeta Kapoor is a renowned choreographer and Dance India Dance judge from the previous seasons and a successful one. She has choreographed a famous song ‘Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayi’ from the movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.
Ahmad Khan is an accomplished writer, director, producer, and choreographer and began acting in small movies to start of his career and has choreographed films like Kick, Ghajini, Taal and much more to his credentials. Mudassar Khan is also an actor, choreographer and has trained many dancers under his guidance. Recognised by his ‘disco dancer’ image and versatile acting, the head judge Mithun Chakraborty is a personality who has marked an imprint forever in the hearts of the audience.
The contestants were judged and trained by these professional experts and taught various styles of dancing jazz, hip-hop, belly dancing, freestyle, contemporary, etc. which grasped the attention and love of the viewers and the cherished moments and lifetime entertainment. With the passing years, each series of Dance India Dance promises to come and surprise the audience and awestruck them with marvellous talents yet to come.
