Ardhangini is a drama serial in the Assamese Language that aired on 17th July 2017 on Rang TV. The serial is focused on the life of Runjun, the eldest daughter of her family. Runjun and Gungun are identical twin daughters of a conservative family. Their father being the headmaster of a school, holds a reputation in the society. Although Runjun and Gungun are identical sisters, their personalities are poles apart. Runjun is a responsible and family-centric person, whereas Gungun is a careless and self-centric person. The story escalates when Runjun and Gungun are set for marriage; however, Gungun elopes with Runjun's groom, putting her family in an ordeal.

To save the family's name, Runjun pretends to be Gungun and marries Gungun's groom.
