Achanurangatha Veedu Trailer Synopsis
Achanurangatha Veedu is a tale about Samuel (Salim Kumar), who falls in love with a Christian girl and gets his religion converted to marry her. But soon he realises that the community won’t accept him and has to face some issues. Also, his wife dies leaving him behind with their three daughters. The plot revolves around Samuel’s third daughter who goes missing one day.
Later on, it is found that she had fallen prey to a prostitution racket and sexually exploited by many men. The rest of the movie shows how cruel the world can get to a rape victim and their relations and the character of the society and media towards such an incident. It depicts the harsh truth of the society wherein a rape victim has to struggle hard to win a case against rich people.
The movie deserves an applaud for showing the agony and distress of the daughter and his dad in an excellent manner. The climax leaves the audience with a lump in the throat. The brilliant and extraordinary performance by the star cast is admirable. It is a highly realistic film and a wake-up call for our society.
