Serena Teaser, Trailer & Video Songs
Serena is an American-French drama film starring the dynamic duo, Jennifer Lawrence, and Bradley Cooper. The movie, based on a book of the same title, is directed by Susanne Bier. The trailer starts out as a typical olden time romantic drama featuring the two lovers, falling in love and building their timber empire together. Serena and George are lovers and partners in business. The portrayal of the dynamic character of Serena by Jennifer is applaud-worthy. Despite the troubles that befall them, Serena stands tall and faces the issues head-on.
Jennifer Lawrence fits the period depicted in the movie. Her platinum blonde looks just add to the effect. As a winner of the Academy Awards, her acting confirms her adequacy but, somehow, it gets muddled in the story. The trailer portrays some of the stunning visuals of the movie. The cinematography captures the drama and life of the story and reveals the impressive production value of the film. Throughout the various twists in the plot, the love between the two is plain to see. The movie has much potential to be exceptional. From the notable actors to the engaging concept, the film, though expected to be a haunting and eerie, fell short of the mark. The trailer gives the viewers a quick peek into the increasing drama and chaos that is Serena, but the translation of that in the film is flat.
