Four friends from Andhra goes to Chennai to find jobs. But they were mistaken and had been arrested. They were taken to court by the police and they force them to accept the crime, which they are not actually aware of. Krishnamurthy, a cop from Andhra Pradesh, helps them to come out. But, he asks them to kidnap an auditor for him. The friends come to know that the auditor has involved in an illegal case. What happens next? Did they escape from the cops? What is their future? Watch the film in theaters!
Right from Dinesh to Murugadoss, all have performed quite naturally. Although Anandhi’s role is for a few minutes, she scores well. Samuthirakani proves his excellence once again as a cop. Ajay Ghosh and Kishore did justice to the given roles.
The director is inspired by the novel, Lockup. He had not added any commercial elements, forced dance sequences and punch dialogues. Without exaggerating, Vetrimaaran had shot the scenes as written in the novel. Choosing the rights actors for the characters is a tedious job and the casting team had done it excellently well. The production and technical values are good. GV Prakash’s background music makes the audiences feel that the incidents happen before them.
What’s Not There?
As the film has no commercial elements, some of the audiences might not feel like watching it. But, the people, who want to watch the realistic crime drama, would be impressed.
