Plot

After completing his graduation, Shiva starts seeking a suitable job. He couldn’t find the right job, even after landing in Hyderabad. So, he decides to run a cab and make money. He buys an old car and runs a taxi service. Soon, he witnesses some weird happenings in the car and decides to give it away. Was he able to dispose of? What happened in the car and why it is spooky? The rest forms the crux of the story.

Star Performance

As usual, Vijay Deverakonda stepped in the shoes of the character given and did it well. His stylish appeal will definitely impress the youngsters. Yamuna comes with her emotional performance in her limited screen time. Priyanka looks good and also had done her job well. Madhunandan, Malavika and Chammak Chandra did their part perfectly.

Analysis

Rahul has come with a good script. Although there were a lot of horror comedy scripts made, Taxiwaala's script seems to be different. The narration is pretty good with the comedy and horror elements that are spread equally. Rahul has given a super thrill to the movie viewers. Similarly, the casting is wonderful and the movie looks good with the skilled people, who fit in the role, right. The second half should have also been concentrated and yes, it looks a bit dull than the first half. Jakes Bejoy’s music is astounding and it gels well with the script. The cinematography and the production values are great.

The neat performance of the stars is a big plus

What’s Not There?

The second half should have been made crisper
The science fiction explanation might not satisfy all

Verdict

Taxiwaala is a good horror comedy thriller that attracts all class audiences. Vijay Deverkonda’s presence is an added advantage for the team to make the people visit the theaters. Taxiwaala – watch worthy!
