Nela Ticket is scripted and directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. The screenplay is by Satyanand. Ram Talluri produced the film. Shakthi Kanth Karthick composed the music and Mukesh G cranked the camera. “ Chota K Prasad” is the editor. The film features Ravi Teja in the lead role. Malvika Sharma plays the female lead. Jagapati Babu, Sampath Raj, “ Brahmanandam,” “ Ali,” Posani Krishna Murali, Actor Ajay, “ Subbaraju,” Tanikella Bharani, Jaya Prakash Reddy, “ Prudhviraj,” Raghu Babu, “ Annapoorna,” Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Fish Venkat, Satya Krishnan and Surekha Vani are in the star cast.

Ravi Teja is an orphan, who always wanted to be surrounded by the people. Jagapati Babu is the Home Minister of the state. He plans to kill his father, who is also a politician. When a journalist finds it out, she is attacked by the gangsters, who work for the Home Minister. In a particular situation, the actions by the Minister affects Ravi Teja and how he manages to protest against the minister forms the rest of the story.

Star Performance

Ravi Teja has played his role as usual as a Mass hero. Jagapati Babu, the villain had done what is needed. Malvika’s role has nothing new to offer and she had done what the director demanded her. Although there are so many comedians in the film, none impressed us.

Kalyan Krishna has chosen a mass story, but it is outdated. The scenes are easily predictable and the audiences will never feel a thrill. The screenplay is not well written and the comedy scenes too. The huge star cast is merely wasted with the poor write up. If the film had been released in the 90s, then it might have been a super duper hit. The script seems to be a mixture of various films and the director fails to impress in any one of the fields.

What’s There?

  • Nothing to pick as a positive point except the mass performances of the hero and the villain

What’s Not There?

  • Screenplay and the execution are not good
  • Comedy portions are unimpressive
  • Predictable scenes
  • Improper songs placement
  • The huge star cast is wasted

For the people, who visited the theaters for Ravi Teja, it might be a great shock. Although he had done his usual action sequences, the story and screenplay pulled his leg. At least, the actor should choose a right script, hereafter!
