Plot
Narayana & Co. centers around the family of Narayana, the patriarch of a middle-class setup. Narayana bore two sons, Anand and Subash. The two are almost on the verge of completing their but still haven’t navigated the path of their lives. This worries Narayana as he struggles to manage the finances of his family. Later, it is revealed that Anand has lost a huge amount in cricket gambling and has no mode to pay it back.
Subhash too is being blackmailed by a stranger, claiming that he possesses the former’s private video. This man has asked for ten lakhs to keep Subhash’s clip protected. Amidst all this, Narayana commits a huge flaw at work that costs him a hefty sum of money. As financial burdens pull this family down, they commit an illegal action to gain the money. The movie then follows their hardships as they hatch their plan.
Star Performances
Narayana & Co. is a film with several actors from different stages of life. Two fresh faces, Sudhakar and Krishna, particularly conquered the screen with their presence. The depiction of Sudhakar and Krishna as spoiled sons of a middle-class man is accurate and relatable for the public. Their characters left an impact on the audience and are the sole reason that this piece is not an absolute flop.
Analysis
Narayana & Co. explores the trope of familial bonds, financial struggles, brotherhood, and the importance of honesty. The movie set out to create an entertaining experience for the audience but has faltered along the way. Also, such stories are cliché and have been told many a time. The screenplay is pretty obvious and leaves no room for excitement.
As the movie progresses, no concrete development is seen in the conflict. At times, the scenes seem forced and completely unnecessary. Although the music pieces are interesting, they disrupt the flow of the film. No resolution is provided for the issue that has been raised. The comic elements are appreciated in the first half, but the second half lacks even that.

Narayana & Co. is a blend of a comic and an emotional piece. It fails to deliver an incredible performance and leaves the audience dissatisfied. The movie can be categorized as an average piece with huge room for improvement. All in all, Narayana & Co. would not make up for an interesting one-time watch.
