Plot

An IT employee Kapil loves Kanchanamala. Both of them tried to get the consent of their parents for their marriage. Kanchana’s father couldn’t accept their marriage proposal and adds a reason for his denial. He states Kapil’s father as a hurdle for their marriage. What is their relationship? Why did he show enmity towards Kapil’s father? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Shraddha Srinath makes her Telugu debut impressively. Aadi has done a decent job. The chemistry between the lead pair is adorable. Naresh, Vennela Kishore and Maruthi Rao are also fine in their roles.

Analysis

Jodi has an outdated story and screenplay. The film’s biggest plus is the star cast. Although it has slow narration, the chemistry between Aadi and Shraddha saves the audience for some time. The characterization is not much impressive. The first half of the film is far better than the second half. In some places, we could see the emotions are forcedly inserted and it didn’t set. The music is quite decent and fit in the story.

What’s There?

  • Casting is neat and so does the performance

What’s Not There?

  • Old story and narration
  • Forcedly inserted scenes

Verdict

The film has nothing new except the debut of Shraddha, who performs naturally. If you don’t have anything to watch for this weekend, you could try this film.
