The title of the movie, Enjoy, may suggest that the movie is really a palatable treat for the Telugu audiences. Many movies arouse expectations but end up shooing audiences from the theater. You will understand why I am telling this when you read through the review.
Plot
The story revolves around the life of two brothers, Ajay and Jackie, and also the romance between one among the brothers and the movie’s heroine. Jackie is a hired thug and leashes out violence for what he is paid. Enter romance in the life of Ajay, and the trouble starts. The heroine’s brother knows that Ajay is not well-off. Now, he imposes a condition that Ajay could marry his sister only if he becomes rich. Jackie plays high stakes so that Ajay could win the heroine’s hand in marriage. Jackie is murdered, and a transgender makes an appearance in the movie. The rest of the story is about whether Ajay enters the wedlock with the heroine.
Star Performances
The performance by Ajay in the movie is like a whiff of fresh air that breathes some life into the movie. The choreographer has made the best use of the talented actor in the movie. But, he does not come anywhere near a hero. The expressions that cross the heroine Chitra’s face seem to be put up. There is a very poor sense of humor in the movie. The bunch of comedians as Ali, Brahmanandam, and MS Narayana fail to impress. But, the actress Kavitha has befittingly done the role of a mother.
Analysis
The movie starts with a college as the background. The senior college mates are seen torturing the newcomers in the name of ragging. Scenes that are repulsive haunt the audience and prove irritating. The ragging scenes are an excuse for the hero to enter the movie to vanquish the torturers. The hero does this and inadvertently wins the attention of the movie’s heroine. Again a love song and the numbers are the only relief in the movie. The movie is not as enjoyable as the title suggests and gets into the nerves of the audiences

Verdict:
The movie fails miserably in sticking to the expectations aroused by the title. There are better movies to watch during the weekend, and this one definitely is not the choice.
