Plot
Park revolves around the story of a couple who gets possessed by spirits. Mithran and Yazhni work in a DTH, and Mithran, a very happy-go-lucky fellow, falls in love with Yazhni and tries to woo her. They come across each other many times outside their workplace, and the more they do, the more Mithran’s feelings intensify. Yazhni falls in love with Mithran, too so they get engaged as soon as they get their parent’s approval. However, one unfortunate day, the engaged couple gets kidnapped by a group of gangsters. No matter how much they run to escape from the goons, they never stop chasing. While fleeing, they stumble into some unknown park which they realize is haunted, the spirits in the park possess them. The spirits possessing them are another vengeful couple looking for revenge for being murdered. As soon as they are possessed, the living couple gets inhuman strength and with its help they beat up and defeat the gangsters. After escaping the gangsters and reaching home safely, their family notices the couple’s strange behavior and is concerned. They look for holy men thinking that could solve their problem but it doesn’t. The couple Mithran and Yazhni have to instead avenge the deaths of the spirits possessing them. Only then will they be able to break free from the possession?
Star Performance
The actor Thaman Kumar gives his best with his script, eventhough the script is not very good. However, Thaman often switches between enthusiasm and lack of enthusiasm in many scenes.
Swetha Dorathy also performed well according to her script, however the script itself was not so good.
Analysis
The plot is nothing unusual as it uses a ubiquitous trope. There are too many familiar romance scenes and because of this it is dull from the start. There is barely anything unique or significant in the movie, there are no dialogues or songs that are worth remembering. On top of that, there is a scarcity in detailing. The only thing alright about the movie was the scenes where the exorcisms occurred. Though these scenes were a bit peculiar, it did seem like more effort was put into the exorcism scenes and the music during those scenes than any other scene in the film. Overall, the movie is average. Park is excruciatingly bland that it gets difficult to sit through the whole movie. On top of that, although it is supposed to be a horror movie there is nothing remotely scary.

Verdict
Not a great movie. I would not recommend anybody to watch it unless you are already bored and wouldn’t mind watching a poorly made-horror film. Park most certainly did not leave a lasting impression.
