1 AM is yet another horror thriller film striking Kollywood. The film features Mohan and Sasvatha in the lead role. Dhilip Theodore has played a vital role in the film. Rahul scripted and directed this thriller entertainer. Besides helming this film, Rahul has produced the movie under his home banner RPM Cinemas. Karthik composes the tunes and the background score and the cinematography is handled by Arun. Siva Dharma edits the film and RS Manikandan is the production executive.Â
Plot
The story starts with a rumor that at 1 AM, in a particular area in Chennai, a girl had been requesting the people to drop her to a place. The people, who gave her lift, were found dead, the next day. Among this 1 AM trap, the son of a Minister becomes a victim. After his death, the police department starts the inquiry rapidly. Does a ghost do these murders? Or someone plans and executes the murders in the name of a ghost? The answers to these questions help you to form the rest of the story.

Rahul has chosen a horror thriller after his debut film Jithan 2. As horror thriller is the latest trend in the Indian cinema, Rahul has picked up this genre with a unique script. Good attempt, Rahul!

Although the film doesn’t have any popular faces, the artists have done their part well. However, it shows that it is a low-budget film. The only thing to be appreciated in the movie is that there are no vulgar scenes and it could be watched with the whole family.
