Aashiq Abu known for his work in Malayalam Cinema, is an Indian producer and Film Director. He was born to C. M. Abu and Jameela Abu on 12 April, 1978 in Edappally, Kerala, and completed his high school and graduation from SRV High School, Kochi and Maharajas College respectively.
 He is married to actress Rima Kallingal. Abu made his first debut film, Daddy Cool in 2009. He directed 22 Female Kottayam and Da Thadiya Gangster in 2012 and also did a short movie called Lost In Bangalore.
