Indian filmmaker Santha Murali has primarily produced films in the Malayalam language. Santha Murali has produced well-known motion pictures such as Family, Teja Bhai, and Oru Kuttanadan Blog. Oru Kuttanadan Blog, Santha's previous movie, was released in theatres in 2018. She has also directed movies such as Chocolate (2007), Robinhood (2009), Memories (2013), and Sara's (2021), which worked pretty well at cinema houses.

Akhila Sasidharan is a Malyalam actress, who was born in Kerala and brought up in Saudi Arabia. She is a versatile dancer and an excellent singer, who grabbed the attention of the audiences in dancing and singing competitions held in the Television channels. She clinched the “Runner Up” title in the Asianet program ‘Thakathimi’ for ‘Bharathanatyam’ in 2007. She was the anchor in ‘Munch Star Singer Junior’ in Asianet. She excels not only in Bharathanatyam, but also in Kalaripayattu. Kalaripayattu is one of the ancient Martial arts, that uses the technique of attacking the enemies by the rapid body movements rather than the weapons. Recently, Akhila performed the Kalaripayattu in Chennai during the celebration of “100 years of Indian cinema”. Akhila Sasidharan has acted in two Malayalam movies with the popular stars ‘Dileep’ and ‘Prithviraj’. Karyasthan was her debut movie with Dileep, which was released in the year 2010 and Teja Bhai and Family was the movie, which she did opposite to Prithviraj in the year 2011. Akhila is passionate about reading books. Akhila has completed her post graduation course in the “English literature”. Her love of the language made her to become mad about reading books. She has a huge collection of literary and poetry books in her house.

Deepu Karunakaran is an Indian writer and director, who has made his contribution to the Malayalam film industry. He is the son of late Karunakaran Nair and Usha K. Nair. He has one sibling, Suchitra Murali, who is a prominent actress in the Malayalam film industry and is settled in the US. In one of his interviews, he stated that his father has acted in a movie at the age of 10 and was his biggest support and always had a positive attitude about his career in the film industry. His father has also done film financing. He also said that his sister is the best critic for his movies.

Shamdat Sainudeen is a famed cinematographer of the south movies and has worked in several Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and one Arabic film. Shamdat Sainudeen is a self-made person. He was born in Palakkad (also known as Palghat) city in South Kerala. According to him, he wasn’t specifically good at anything in school. So intrinsically, he thought that cinema would be his rescuer and at that time he thought to become an actor. He also briefly worked as a wedding camera man. But it didn’t seem satisfying to him and then he opted to work as a sound assistant. He was married on 26th May 2006 and now blessed with two children (an elder son and a younger daughter).

He got the best actor award from the Government of Kerala for the film Celluloid, in which he performed as J. C. Daniel, the pioneer of Malayalam cinema, who hailed from Tamilnadu. He is the producer of Urumi, Indian Rupee, Kadal Kadannoru Mathukkutty, Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, Double Barrel and Ennu Ninte Moideen. He has also sung a song Kanne Kanne, in the film Puthiya Mukham.

Jagathy Sreekumar, a famous Indian film actor known for his comedy roles. His original name is Sreekumar Achary known by his screen name Jagathy. Sreekumar was born in 1951 in Jagathy, Trivandrum.His father was a drama artist, and he worked for all India radio. He did his schooling in Trivandrum and completed his graduation from Mar Ivanious College Trivandrum. He first started his career as a medical representative and due to his immense passion towards the film, he turned to the film industry and became an actor.

During his school and college days itself, he acted in dramas and play and became a theater artist. He started his film career in the movie Chattambi Kalyani directed by J Sasikumar in 1975.After that, he did small roles, and later he became popular for his comedy roles. In 1976 after his after Jagathy married to Mallika Sukumaran and Jagathy at that time was at the starting stage of his career. Mallika was a lead actress in the industry also. Later they got separated, and Jagathy continued with his acting. Jagathy mentions his father as a strict person and in interviews, he always mentions about his father.Jagathy film journey continued and in 1979 he again married Kala, and the couple had a daughter Sreelakshmi. Later in 1984, the relationship ended with a divorce. Kalpavriksham, Madalasa, Ethoruswapnam, Pappu, Munettam, Adipan, Yavanika, Ayityham, Jaalakam, Shikkar, Naayika, Udayananu Taram, etc. were his famous hits. In 1984, Jagathy again married Shobha and has one son and daughter.

Jagathy directed two films in Malayalam Kalyanaunnikal and Annakutty Kodambakkam Vilikunu. 1990's Jagathy Kalpana combination was a hit and almost all films the pair joined. He wrote the screen play for the movie champion Thomas in 1990.Apart from all these Jagathy also tried his luck as a playback singer and sung almost five songs in Malayalam.

Jagathy got many awards for his performance, and he is in Guinness book of world records for completing 1500 films .he got 5 Kerala state film award,2 Kerala film critics award, Bahadoor Award in 2003, Prem Nazir ward in 2005, etc. He got The Kochi Times Film Award for his negative role in the movie Urumi.

During the peak point of his career in 2012 Jagathy met with an accident while returning to his house after film shoot. Jagathy was hospitalized over 1 year and is still recovering from his injuries. There is only one Jagathy in Indian cinema and nobody can ever replace his place.   The name Jagathy Sreekumar echoes in the mind of every malayalee audience and all are waiting for his comeback.

Salim Kumar is a person who deserves the title of a film legend. He was born on 1969 in Kerala to parents Gangadharan and Kausalya. He has worked in nearly two hundred and fifty films, mostly in Malayalam and is a very popular public figure in Kerala. He did his higher education in BA from Maharajas College in Ernakulam, which has a reputation for nurturing budding artists. During his course at Maharajas, he had won the University title for mimicry three years in a row.
