Plot
Saseendran, aka Sasi, is a tuition teacher. Sudhakaran, who runs a tutorial college offers Saseendran to take English classes. Sundara Panicker, the rival of Sudhakaran runs a tutorial college and brings good results in the SSLC exams. As Sasi has financial needs to settle his loans, he accepts the job offer from Sudhakaran. Paramu Asan is the cruel moneylender in the village and he has lent a lump sum to Sasi. Sakunthala joins the tutorial college run by Sudhakaran as a Maths teacher. Sakunthala falls for Sasi. This didn’t go well with Sudhakaran as he helped Sakunthala’s fmily. Sakunthala’s mother doesn’t want this relationship, as she feels Sasi is from a lower caste. Meanwhile, due to an unfortunate incident at the tutorial college, Sasi moves to the Gulf. After some time, he returns and surprises the people who were against him. What was the surprise? What happens to Sakundhala’s love story? The rest of the film speaks about this.
Star Performance
Shaheen’s performance was pretty decent. Neha have to improve a lot. RS Vimal, who made his debut as an actor, has tried a lot to showcase a villain. But, his expressions are repetitive. Siddique’s cameo is neat, but didn’t make any impact.
Analysis
The story is simple and neat. RS Vimal has tried to make an interesting screenplay with fancy dialogues. As the casting is not impressive, the characters didn’t create any impact. If the casting team had picked a different cast with some impressive acting skills, the movie could’ve reached the audience. The film has good production and technical values. The visuals are okay.
