Plot
Gouri Teacher lives in an old age home. She has a son, who is unwilling to take her home. Shivan, the caretaker of the old age home, casually invites Gouri Teacher to his home. As Gouri Teacher had claustrophobia at the old age home, she agreed to visit his house, upon the discussion with her friend at the Old age home. Soon, they find solace in their companionship and decide to get married. Despite a few saying No to their marriage, they got married and started living together. Did their friendship continue? Did anyone from both their families interfere in their lives? The rest of the film speaks about that.
Star Performance
Leela Samson and Jayraj Kozhikode did justice to the given roles. Deepak Parambol did his job well. He has both emotional and grey shades. He handled both efficiently. Anu Sithara, Pauly, and Irshad provided good support with their natural performances.
Analysis
Abhijith has handled a sensitive and emotional subject carefully without hurting the feelings of anyone. The affection and expectations of the 70+ people are shown well, and the director has strongly registered that the affection that comes after 70 towards the opposite gender is not wrong. The simple yet beautiful film with a neat star cast delivers the right message to the audience, though it has a few shortcomings in the making.
