Dayal Padmanabhan is a Kannada movie director, who was born and brought up in Tamil Nadu. He was born on 14th June 1970 in Villupuram in Tamil Nadu. His parents are Padmanabhan and Radha. Padmanabhan was an employee of Tamilnadu Electricity Board. After his sudden death, Radha got the job and educated her son. Dayal is a scientist by profession. He came to Bangalore in 1988 and joined Indian Institute of Science as a scientist. Due to the passion for cinema, Dayal resigned his scientist job and got deep into the cinema industry.
