Plot
The story revolves around Deepak, who is a carefree lad. His life takes a turn when he comes across Anjali, a software engineer by profession. Deepak becomes obsessed with her, but his antics get him and his friend Suleiman involved in trouble. When Deepak learns of Anjali coming under danger too, he must do all he can to rescue her, as well as himself. Â

What makes this film worth watching is the pace that picks up in the second half.
Irrespective of the flaws in the screenplay, the actors have tried to make up for it with their performances.

’. This is ‘Kailasa Kasidre’.
The film has nothing innovative, either in terms of plot or in terms of technology. The film is somewhere stuck in the early 2000s, in terms of the approach to the narrative. The visuals, as well as the acting performances, try to make the experience watchable. However, the identity crisis of the screenplay prevents the same.
At times, we feel as if we are watching another regular rom-com. The very next moment, you get the feeling, as if you are a part of some heist comedy. There are some emotional sequences as well, but overall, the focus of the narrative is as good as non-existent.
The first half doesn’t let you feel that the runtime of this movie is just a little above 2 hours. The makers take their own time to build up the narrative, and by the time the interval arrives, viewers are left wondering if they did something good by paying for the ticket to this movie.
However, the pace of the movie, as well as the narrative does pick up in the second half. It does not make this movie a masterpiece in any way, but still, the overall experience is far from dreadful. The actors, including Ravi Kiran N, give their best, trying to make up for the mess made by the screenwriters.

‘Kailasa Kasidre’ offers nothing new. The narrative loses its focus midway, and the film seems like a forgettable affair. However, the acting performances and an interesting climax make up for this average affair.
