Star Performance

When stars like Neena Gupta is cast in a film, we should never question the performance. Neena is such a wonderful actress who could attract the audience towards her with her exemplary performances. Aqsa Siddiqui is natural with her role and impresses the audience.

To pull the attention of the audience, there need not be a superstar cast in the film, but a good story and some natural actors along with a perfect narrator. This film has good stars and a story. It is also stated that some students from the Banaras Hindu University had also worked in the movie as interns. The film showcases the hard truth about the widows in the society and at the same time, it also didn’t fail to prove the financially backward people as well as the people, who are attested as lower castes and their wish to move forward in life. Although the story and performances are good, the narration could have been contemporary. Although it shows the story of 24 years, the recent happenings are also accommodated in the story. As this is his debut film, we can expect Vikas to give a better version in his next.

What’s There?

  • Sensible script and good performances
  • Star cast is perfect

What’s Not There?

Narration should have been better

The film is good with some neat performances. Although the film lacks the latest narration style, it is worth watching once for the story and performances.
