Plot
Gangaram is the village’s sarpanch. His village started suffering from crop failure, famine, and wildlife encroachment. He visited the government office to get the compensation but wasn’t successful in his attempts. A poster by the government states that if a person dies due to a tiger attack, his kin will get Rs 10 lakh compensation. After seeing this poster, he decided to sacrifice himself for the compensation amount for his people. What did he do? Did he face the tiger? The rest of the story speaks about his plans.
Star Performance
Pankaj is the fulcrum of the story. He fits well in the role of Gangaram and makes us forget who he really is. Neeraj Kabi plays the role of a poacher and excels well in his role. Though Sayani Gupta gets minimal screen time, she provides much-needed support to the lead characters well.
Analysis
The film takes a huge time to establish the basic plot. If the film had crisper dialogues and a fast-paced screenplay, the length of the film would’ve been trimmed. The writing is a little weak, and the editing team also has done a lazy job. Compared to the first half, the second half is much better. However, if both the halves had been made with a proper speed, it would’ve come out well. The BGM elevates many scenes and is impressive.

If the pace had been maintained at the correct levels in both halves, the film would’ve been better. However, for the performances and the effort of the director, it can be watched once!
