Plot:
This story introduces a female Smurf, Smurfette who is on a journey with her brother to find the rumored Smurf village. It is a mysterious plot involving discoveries and experiences for the characters. The Smurfette is created by the evil wizard Gargamel out of clay, with a motive of sending her to the Smurf’s village and stealing their magic. Gargamel sends his vulture to keep an eye on them and catch hold of some Smurfs for his experiments.
Smurfette spots a pair of eyes and follows it until it disappears from a crack between the wall separating the two worlds, the Smurf’s village, and a forbidden forest. She notices the vulture wearing a hat similar to hers but made of a different material. By the time the other Smurfs come to her, she is snatched by the vulture and is fled to Gargamel’s lair. He puts her into a cage and throws a part of her hat into a cauldron. He discovers that the hat came from another village of Smurfs far off the forbidden forest. What happens next? Are the Smurfs able to rescue the Smurfette? To find out more, watch the film.
Analysis:
If you have seen the previous two movies, you could be a little disappointed to see that this film is fully animated, though they have integrated the animation into the real life very well. Nowadays, even animated movies give out a really admirable message with its adorable characters. Smurfs has also shown that the main lead of the film or the hero in a film can also be a female actor.

What’s there?
1. The animation of the movie is far more appreciable than the other two movies.
2. Beautiful locations and vibrant colors.
What’s not there?
1. The dialogues and proceedings were in predictable terms.
2. The movie is fully animated had a drawback, as people really enjoyed watching the evil Gargamel in human form and not animated.
Verdict:
On the whole, it is a children’s movie, so it does have a happy ending and carries a message, all in all, is an entertaining film.
