PLOT

Arthur Bishop (Jason), the terminator and a professional perfectionist in eliminating targets, drowns the Columbia drug dealer in his pool and gets paid by Harry (Donald). He is Bishop’s mentor and a good friend. As the movie scrolls, Bishop gets a confirmation call from his dealer that his next target being Harry. He requests to meet the dealer, and Dean (Tony Gold) reveals about the failure mission in South Africa, in which his co-terminators were killed. Dean clears that only he and Harry knew about the mission, and misguides that Harry got paid for the contract. Harry is killed, and it’s made to look like an attempt of carjacking. His son Steve (Ben Foster), who is desperate about the death, checks with every carjacker he finds. In later scenes, Bishop stops Steve and trains his as a mechanic. He gets a deal to kill Burke (Jeff Chase) - mechanic at another agency. His love for dogs and the young man made him invite Steve for a drink. Steve is successful in killing Burke. Bishops next target is Andrew (John) – the leader of the cute-like church. He along with Steve plans for the deal. In the process, Bishop realizes that Harry was not responsible for the failed mission, but it was Danny. Steve also gets to know the real cause of his father death. Dean is killed, Steve plans for Bishop’s death and returns home. He finds a written note by Bishop which said that he would be killed if he is reading this. In the last scenes, it's shown that Steve is killed, and Bishop saved himself from the car blast.

ANALYSIS

The best part in the movie is its climax scenes, where the two tries to swindle on each other. It is a mind-blowing act at the pool when the drug dealer is drained to death. The sound effects mix with the actions well. The main roles all are played by male leads. It contains criminal acts, and the crime is managed undetected. The director is successful in the power filled remake. The movie also accords a message, the one who fix the troubles become trouble themselves.

PERFORMANCES

Jason is known for his crime movies, has played a similar kind of role in the movie. He has his own style of stunts. He has come up cruel and jarring senses. Ben Foster in a role, which is dedicated to killing the person responsible for his father’s death, but an immature act to believe the stranger and get trained. Jason role of not having human values is accepted and appreciated by only a few of his viewers. Tony Gold was screened as the con artist. He plays the cheating game with confidence.

WHAT’S THERE?

The movie has well created short burst actions. The film also features good editing. The soundtracks and the effects have been well fused to the actions. The audiences are forced to accept the loud effects before thinking why was it given.

WHAT’S NOT?

The unexpected stunts grab the attention of viewers, which the film failed to execute, and the stunts were too expected. It has no human values. The mechanic is self-imposed, he is concerned only with his work to tackle lives regardless of the person who it is. It lacks good light effects.

VERDICT

One who has interest for action scenes can opt this film. The real con start may love the movie and role of Tony.
