Plot

Jane starts her day by going early to the office. She is a junior assistant in film production in New York Click to look into! >> Read More... . It has been five weeks since she joined the company. She is the first one to arrive at the office. She does the work in the office and also little things in the office like cleaning the desk and making coffee. This makes her life busy and stressed. She is created more like a maid than an assistant. Then she gets a phone call from her mother. Her mother tells her that today is her father’s birthday. Some male staff office worker comments that the boss is having a sexual affair. While the female staff office worker is overloaded by their work. So many people come every day to visit the boss. Whenever Jane makes a small mistake, the boss abuses her verbally. All the workers in the office knew that Jane was verbally abused. But no one speaks up. Instead, they always remain silent. A young female inexperienced worker Sienna arrives. She is given a work to be a junior assistant at a five-star hotel. Jane is concerned about Sienna. She thinks of complaining about this to Human Resources Department. Will Jane complain about this to Human Resources Department? Or will she be silent like other workers in the office? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

Julia Garner is the protagonist of the movie. Her innocence and expression in the film were incredible. She describes the life of a regular worker in the office. She did an outstanding performance in the movie. Matthew Macfadyen did a fantastic performance in the movie. His acting performance was fundamental and natural. His irresponsibility towards the leading actress was great.  Kristine Froseth did a mind-blowing performance in the movie. Her character has a very significant role in the movie. Alexander Chaplin and Patrick Breen also made a remarkable performances in the movie. All the other actors were as great as the main lead actors.

Analysis

The theme of the film was great. The theme of the film describes the issues faced by the assistant. In the film, the assistant is treated more like a maid than an assistant; this condition also happens in the actual movie. The storyline of the film is good but not as great as expected. But the storyline makes a massive impact in real life. The film does not have suspense at all to make the audience watch this film till the end. The dialogues were the best part of the film. The dialogues were excellent. The visuals in the film were excellent. The screenplay in the movie was not as great as expected.
