Plot: Two good friends get stranded in a desert that is pretty isolated as their truck gets broken down. This however, doesn't only test their patience to survive but to tolerate each other too as they develop a tiff between them. As their frustration builds up, they begin to attack and argue with each other with an unabashed insensitivity.
What you may like:
1. This is a fairly well-written story that deals with the basic theme of a journey that is the protagonists take on to rediscover themselves.
2. The movie doesn't only have a very bravely and freshly written script but also a bunch of convincing and intense actors too.
3. We see that the metaphorical stance that the movie takes is broadly about a monster that isn't supernatural per se but is something that is within us and we have to fight it.
4. Even though we may agree on the fact that this movie is a rather low-budget movie but the surprising part is the fact that we can relate so much more to it than we had expected.
5. The movie is able to entice the audience in bits and pieces especially the second half which is considered to be surreal.
What you may dislike:
1. The one thing that will disappoint a viewer may be erraticness and inconsistency of the plot of the movie which is not able to hold the audience's’ attention for a very long time.
2. Even though the directors were able to capture the enticing landscapes, they were incapable of being able to capture the very complexities of human relations.
3. Apart from the fact that the movie is inconsistent and uneven on the plot, the pace of the plot is also not very impressive as it is very slow and unengaging.
Verdict: The movie is able to entertain you in moments. With a good script and actors performing fairly well, this movie can be a one-time watch.
