Plot

Raccoon City was once a place where everything flourished, and now the residents have turned into zombies. Umbrella Corporation, a pharmaceutical company, involved in the genetic experiments, was shut after the city turned into a zombies’ place. A few survivors are setting up to find out the truth and save the rest of them. Will they succeed? The rest of the film speaks about it.

Star Performance

The stars had done a good job with their heroic performances.

Analysis

The film started well by creating a horror mood. Most of the film has the zombies and their fight with the survivors. Although it seems to be quite irritating, certain scenes are shot well. The properties used in the film, such as buildings and toys, give a complete horror effect and impress the audience. The makers should have concentrated well on maintaining the script, as the story loses its power after the leads start their journey to find out the truth. Many scenes are not shot with perfection and seem to have derailed. The BGM, cinematography, and the VFX are appreciable.

What’s There?

  • The script is good
  • The stars had given a neat performance
  • The film is technically sound

What’s Not There?

  • The screenplay should have been better with fast-paced scenes
  • The actual story is not maintained properly

Verdict

If you love to watch zombie movies, this one will join your watch list. For those who love just action thrillers, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will not go well!
