“Life flows on” seems more like a documentary on Dementia and Alzheimer’s than a piece of entertainment. It is dedicated to and inspired by the Global Dementia Challenge and Elderly Care.
Plot
The story revolves around a young woman, who gets roped into the world of dementia when her mother is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. We eventually see the lives of three dementia patients and their stories become connected. The movie explores the lack of proper systems to deal with such mental health illnesses.
Analysis
Nityananda's idea while making this movie was to make people aware of how our system is so insensitive towards such solemn health challenges. The film has been shot largely in Uttarakhand. The actors are quite diverse and do decent work. The direction and the cinematography are just average. There is no prominent soundtrack as such. The editing was also just average.
Star Performances
The best thing about the movie is the storyline and the emotions at play. The scenic beauty of the locale is just breathtaking.
